The Pound to Canadian Dollar exchange rate recovered the remainder of its early April losses to open the new week but could be likely to consolidate within roughly a 1.8339 to 1.8504 range in the days ahead.
The Pound to Canadian Dollar rate rose back in the direction of post-Brexit highs last week, from near two-month lows, but is now approaching a series of resistances spanning the gap between 1.8338 and 1.8814 on the charts, some of which could slow, hinder or perhaps even halt the rally up ahead.
The Pound to Canadian Dollar exchange rate receded further from the post-Brexit highs of early March last week but it benefits from a double-barreled layer of support just above the nearby 1.82 handle and might even have scope to recover above 1.8427 if the US Dollar weakens afresh up ahead, taking the Loonie with it.
